Getting to GREEN×EXPO 2027 can be a little confusing at first — the venue isn't directly connected to any train station. The site sits about 10 km west of Yokohama Station, in a residential area, so every route ends with a shuttle bus.
But once you understand the basic patterns, it's not too hard. After 29 trips to the 2025 Osaka Expo, the lesson I keep coming back to is: decide your access route in advance, and the day-of stress drops to almost nothing. This guide covers how to reach the venue by train, bus, and car — from Yokohama Station, Shin-Yokohama, the airports, and major Japanese cities.
- The 4 stations where shuttle buses run from
- Routes from Yokohama Station and Shin-Yokohama Station
- Access from Haneda and Narita airports
- How to get there from Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Sapporo and other major cities
- Parking and Park & Ride information for car travel

If you're traveling from another part of Japan, take the Shinkansen or a flight to Shin-Yokohama Station or Yokohama Station, then follow the routes above.

|---|---|---|---|
| Tokyo | JR Tokaido / Yokosuka Line | ~25–30 min | ¥480 |
| Nagoya | Tokaido Shinkansen (Nozomi) | ~1 hr 20 min | ~¥11,000 |

| Fukuoka | Flight (via Haneda) | ~3 hr+ | From ¥15,000 |

※ Shinkansen prices are based on standard reserved seat fares. Flight prices vary depending on when you book, the airline, and any discounts.
※ Times above are to Shin-Yokohama or Yokohama Station only. You will still need a shuttle bus from there to the venue.
For Travelers from Osaka / Nagoya
Take the Tokaido Shinkansen "Nozomi" to Shin-Yokohama Station. From there, follow the route above (JR Yokohama Line → Toka-ichiba → shuttle bus). For opening day or weekend visits, booking an early-morning Shinkansen is the safest move.
For Travelers from Fukuoka / Sapporo (or via flight)
A flight to Haneda is the practical choice. Lock in flights early — both the cost and timing benefit from advance booking.
